Over a few years, my active participation in the Remotion community and creation of That Was Pro, coupled with moderating the Discord server, has allowed me to get exposed to many aspects of the open source project. After discussion with Jonny, we agreed to kick off a project to port the AWS cloud rendering over to GCP, wherein I built out a Node API, a CLI, and an automated one-click deployment pipeline leveraging Terraform. The improved resource deployment workflow will be migrated back over to AWS in the future, to increase user adoption.
